Janaki's youth and life, both were burden unto her. She had learnt to cope up with sorrows, but life-that was another matter-she was innocent when she saw that her rickshaw puller father was unable to pull the cart of the family, she came out of the protection of the four walls of her house. He girl friend Sheela was earning her bread through picking up the papers and leftovers from the road and she joined her.
There were seven members in Janki's household and the father was a drunkard and the brothers were selfish and the only sister was handicapped. Only one person wanted to be helpful, but he also was after her youth. Through Sheela, she met with Purushottam and the very first meeting was no less than love at first sight.
Janaki's father fell sick and became irritant and wanted to have 'Biryani'. Janaki, hungry herself went out to hunt for eatables. She met Purushottam. He offered her everything. He not only filled her stomach but filled her womb also. She became pregnant with the sin.
Due to the bad name brought upon her family, her mother committed suicide, and though Janaki had total faith in her love but when she came to know that he was already married and father of children, she tried to bear it out.... But life is nothing but bearing. We keep bearing........sometimes like Janaki, sometimes like her father and mother, sometimes like Purushottam and his wife......... Pet Pyar aur Paap is the story of you and us.......Let us see it.
